9jacodekids was in Dubai to represent Nigeria at the world’s largest tech event, the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX Global).
GITEX Global is a grand tech showcase which features major technology companies and some of the most revolutionary technologies such as; AI, Cyber security, 5G, Cloud, Fintech, etc.
It is a major tech event where you find even the big players in the industry like Google, Microsoft, IBM and the like represented and among them multiple startups, investors, and government officials from over 140 countries from the Middle East, Asia and Africa are also represented.

This event was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on the 10th-14th of October, 2022. And we were excited to be given the opportunity to be part of the few Nigerian startups attending this event, fully sponsored by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA Nigeria) and Office for National Digital Innovation, ONDI, under the Nigerian Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

We were also privileged to be part of the nine tech startups from Nigeria that made it to the semi-final pitch competition, thanks to the amazing pitch our founder Ugochukwu Nkwocha gave to the investors in Dubai.
